Our Sustainability Commitment

EVIEKO exists to replace grid-powered and fuel-powered outdoor lighting with clean solar lighting. Every EVIEKO light installed means no trenching, no cabling, no electricity bill and no carbon emissions from operation.

Our environmental principles

  • A product range that is 100% solar powered – zero running energy from the grid.
  • Long-life LiFePO4 batteries (2,000+ cycles) to reduce battery waste compared with conventional cells.
  • Recyclable aluminium, glass and cardboard packaging wherever possible.
  • Consolidated shipments and multi-pack options to lower transport emissions per unit.
  • Spare parts and repairable designs for commercial luminaires to extend product life.

Social impact

Solar lighting brings safe, affordable light to streets, farms, remote communities and off-grid sites where grid power is unavailable or unreliable. We support community and council projects with technical advice and project pricing.

  • Carbon-neutral operations by 2030.
  • Take-back and recycling programme for batteries and luminaires in Australia.
  • Continuous improvement of lumens-per-watt efficiency across the range.
