Overview

This four sets double-sided unit flashes 120 times a minute with LEDs visible beyond 1000m, powered by a 10W solar panel and a 12V 14Ah lead acid battery for 72 hours of continuous backup. A photocell handles dusk-to-dawn switching.

Installation and operation
The four-set version doubles the number of beacons and carries a larger 14Ah battery to run them, suiting wider carriageways, dual approaches and major checkpoints. Mount on a pole or barrier with the panel in sun and switch on; the photocell manages dusk-to-dawn operation and the 72-hour reserve covers cloudy spells. Red 625nm and blue 460nm LEDs give the recognised emergency colour signature from over a kilometre.
