Solar lighting projects – designed before they're built

Every EVIEKO project starts with a lighting design. We model your road, car park, path or yard with EVIEKO solar lights, check the light levels against your target, and only then quote the poles and fittings you actually need.

What a project with EVIEKO looks like

A simple four-step process – from your site plan to lights delivered to site.

1. Send your site detailsA site plan, drawing or Google Maps link, the area type and dimensions, and your target lighting level if you have one.
2. We simulate itWe model the area, test suitable EVIEKO solar lights and compare layouts until the target is met.
3. You receive the report3D simulation, road diagram, calculated results and the recommended layout – with your written quote.
4. Order with confidenceApprove the quote and we ship your lights by tracked freight to your site.

Deliverables in every design

  • 3D photometric simulation of your site
  • Road simulated diagram – a plan-view lux map of the whole area
  • Calculated results: average and minimum illuminance and uniformity (Eavg, Emin, U0) compared with your target
  • Recommended EVIEKO model, pole height, spacing and number of poles
  • Battery autonomy and solar panel sizing for your location
  • Bill of materials and a freight-inclusive written quote
Small projects2–3business days · e.g. one street, path or car park
Medium projects3–5business days · e.g. several roads or a large car park
Large projects5–10business days · e.g. estates, multi-site or tender packages

Design examples

This is the kind of output you receive. The examples below are sample designs, not completed installations.

Example EVIEKO lighting design output: 3D photometric simulation, light distribution curve and road isolux diagram

Example output: 3D false-colour photometric simulation, night view, light distribution curve and road isolux diagram. Your design is calculated for your own site, lights and target.

Example calculation

Rule of thumb vs calculated layout

Illustrative 200 m two-lane road, 7 m wide with 1.5 m footpaths, 6 m poles on one side, target 15 lx average and uniformity 0.30. Both layouts calculated with EVIEKO's photometric planner engine.

Before: rule of thumb

Spacing = 3 × pole height, larger 60 W light

Lights needed
13
Spacing
18.0 m
Average (Eavg)
30.2 lx
Uniformity (U0)
0.38
Total LED load
780 W

About 2× more light than needed

After: EVIEKO calculated layout

40 W EVIEKO bifacial solar street light

Lights needed
10
Spacing
24.0 m
Average (Eavg)
15.1 lx
Uniformity (U0)
0.39
Total LED load
400 W

Meets both targets

23% fewer poles and 49% less LED power in this example

Example calculation for a fictional site. Results differ for every site – this is one illustrative calculation, not a guaranteed saving.
